Top-Selling Projectors in July According to PMA Research Industry Tracking

San Juan Capistrano, California, USA – August 29, 2014. PMA Research, the worldwide market information experts on front projectors, has posted their most recent Projector Tracking Service results to the “Top-Selling Projectors” area of their website.

For more than 16 years now, PMA Research has collected monthly sell-through data from leading North American projector dealers, retailers, web resellers and distributors. Their Tracking Service family of monthly reports offers timely data and analysis on unit sales, true volume-weighted street prices, and inventories of front projectors for these channels.

Each month, PMA Research posts the “Top 5” Projector Lists for the following product categories:

High-End Projectors – This “Top 5″ list is compiled from data collected from PMA’s monthly Pro AV Projector Tracking Service panel, which is made up of North American dealers and integrators. For High-End projectors, Epson took four of the “Top 5” spots in July with the best-selling PowerLite Pro G6050W coming in first, followed by the PowerLite 1940W, PowerLite 1945W and PowerLite Pro G6450WU filling the second, third and fourth spots, respectively. Optoma rounded out this “Top 5” list with the EH501.

Mainstream Projectors – This “Top 5″ list is compiled from data collected from PMA’s monthly Distributor Projector Tracking Service panel, which is made up of North American distributors. For the Mainstream segment, Boxlight took top honors with their Boston X32NST projector. NEC followed in second place with the NP-M322X. Epson rounded out this “Top 5” list with the PowerLite 98, BrightLink 585Wi and PowerLite X17 coming in third, fourth and fifth, respectively.

Pico and Personal Projectors – This “Top 5″ list is compiled from data collected from PMA’s monthly Retail Projector Tracking Service panel, which is made up of North American retailers and web resellers. For Pico and Personal projectors, the July results showed AAXA with three of the Top 5 best-selling models. The AAXA P300 Pico, P4-X, and the P2 Jr. came in first, second and fourth, respectively. In a repeat from June, Optoma filled the third spot with the ML750, and Asus rounded out this “Top 5” list with their S1 projector.
