RedDot Imaging, the licensee and developer of AGFAPHOTO branded cameras and camcorders, introduced the Projecta 147ba, a new 14.1 megapixel digital still camera. The camera uses a DLP optical engine to produce up to 15 lumens (peak) at nHD (640×360) resolution with 300:1 contrast ratio. In addition to showing photos and video taken by the camera, the projector can display files from a PC connected over the PC Link. RedDot and AGFAPHOTO also announced that French distributor Sagemcom has been appointed as the exclusive European Union distributor for AGFAPHOTO cameras, including the Projecta 147b. Sagemcom themselves produce the Philips branded companion pico projectors.
