Recently, the Eastman Kodak Company announced the availability of three new portable projectors from its North American brand licensee, C+A Global: the KODAK Pocket Portable Projector, KODAK Pocket Pico Projector, and KODAK Pocket Wireless Pico Projector. Each DLP projector can connect with compatible mobile devices or computer via an HDMI connection. All three projectors include a built-in rechargeable battery and feature a MicroSD™ compatibility. All three new projectors also include built-in speakers and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Kodak Pocket Portable Projector is very compact, measuring 3”x3”x0.8” and weighs 5 ounces. It offers 75 lumens brightness and 640×360 native resolution. The projector also features 100% image offset and adjustable focus. In addition, the Pocket Portable Projector is tripod-mountable for added stability. It also includes USB connectivity via USB flash drive. Finally, the Kodak Pocket Portable Projector features touch screen command buttons for controlling content. The Kodak Pocket Portable Projector ships with an HDMI® cable, USB cable and Quick Start Guide, and comes with a 1-year limited warranty.

The Kodak Pocket Pico Projector and Pocket Wireless Pico Projector feature a compact, 2.1-inch cube design, weighing 6.1 ounces. Both offer 100 lumens brightness with a native resolution of 854×480 pixels. The Kodak Pocket Pico Projector and Wireless Pico Projector both ship with a mini tripod for added height and stability, plus a remote control for easy operation. Kodak’s wireless enabled projector eliminates the need for any wires while operating, with the ability to easily connect to any compatible mobile device for seamless screen mirroring over a private device-enabled Wi-Fi connection. Finally, each ships with an HDMI® cable, HDMI® adapter, power cable and adapter, remote control, mini tripod and Quick Start Guide, and comes with a 1-year limited warranty.

Display market analyst firm PMA Research has been following the Pico and Personal projector market since its inception. Their most recent Census and Forecast reports show that the Pico and Personal projector segment grew 28% in units and 10% in revenue on a worldwide basis in 2017.
