Veteran projector maker InFocus announced a new personal projector, the IN1144. The new projector uses a DLP imager paired with LED illumination to produce 500 lumens at WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution, with 10,000:1 contrast ratio. In addition to HDMI and VGA inputs, the IN1144’s built in personal media player (PMP) can display images, video and office documents, including PowerPoint presentations, from a USB memory stick. The built-in USB port also supports InFocus’ optional Wireless USB module for PC-Free operation. The IN1144 is available now at a suggested retail price of US$599.

PMA’s projector market research has followed InFocus for many years and the IN1144 is the first New Era projector they have introduced.
