Casio Enhances its Pro Series Laser/LED Hybrid Line

Casio has added two new 3500 lumen, WXGA projectors – the XJ H2600 and the XJ-H2650 – to their lamp-free lineup. Both are 3D ready and offer multiple connectivity options including RGB, HDMI, composite, S-Video and audio.

Additionally, the XJ-H2650 adds wired LAN capabilities and is USB enabled for compatibility with Casio’s wireless connections software. The XJ-H2650 offers connectivity with mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, Android and Windows Mobile) using the MobiShow application and is Interactive Whiteboard ready.

The XJ-H2600 will be available for an MSRP of $2,299 and the XJ-H2650 will be available for an MSRP of $2,499.

Projector research firm Pacific Media Associates has been tracking the progress of projector sales of models using SSI (solid-state illumination). Casio started this product trend but many other manufacturers are jumping on the bandwagon as these “green” projectors gain in market share.
