At InfoComm, Canon announced that four new LCD projectors have been added to their LV-Series line. There are two Advanced models – the LV-8227A (WXGA, 2500 lumen) and the LV-7392A (XGA, 3000 lumen), which will begin shipping in June with an MSRP of $799 each. There are two Mid-Range models – the LV7297M (XGA, 2600 lumen) and the LV7292M (XGA, 2200 lumen). They will also ship in late June with respective MSRPs of $699 and $599.

All LV units include a wide array of connectivity options, Canon wide-angle 1.2 zoom lenses and a variety of image modes including standard, presentation, high contrast, cinema and blackboard.

Pacific Media Associates projector market research suggests that, with classroom and conference room budgets still tight, prjectors that are feature packed yet budget-friendly are popular in today’s market.
