Leyard and Planar introduced the Leyard® VVR Series of indoor and outdoor LED video wall displays designed to meet the fast-paced needs of the rental and staging industry. The series was showcased recently at Live Design International (LDI) 2018 in Las Vegas.

Leyard VVR Series LED video walls have a self-supporting design that easily adapts to various installations, including hanging, stacking, wall-mounting, floor-mounting, and attaching to traditional and customized frame styles. With a wide range of configurations, the Leyard VVR Series is ideal for applications including concerts, festivals, conferences, trade shows or exhibitions.

Designed for fast assembly and take-down, Leyard VVR Series LED displays feature magnetically-attachable cabinets with a quick-lock system to support single-person handling. The magnetic points briefly hold the LED cabinet in place while an installer finalizes cabling and the embedded quick-lock system makes it easy and efficient to secure cabinets together.

The Leyard VVR Series incorporates a rack-mounted video controller that supports resolutions up to 2.3 million pixels and includes control software that delivers a variety of controls and adjustments via a user-friendly interface. The Leyard VVR Series uses power and signal cables compatible with industry-standards and features an easy twist-lock latching system. All electronics are contained in single compartment on the back of the cabinet which is easily removable for quick access to all components.

With high brightness, excellent contrast and a wide color gamut, the Leyard VVR Series delivers the image quality needed for dynamic applications. The Leyard VVR Series is suitable for high ambient light conditions with indoor models offering 1000-nit brightness and outdoor models offering high brightness of 5000-nits.  The outdoor models have an IP65 Ingress Protection Rating to protect the LED display in harsh outdoor conditions.

Indoor models are available in 2.5, 3.9, 4.8 and 5.9 millimeter pixel pitches. Outdoor models are available in 2.9, 3.9, 4.8, 5.9, 7.8 and 10.4 millimeter pixel pitches. The Leyard VVR Series will begin shipping in the first quarter of 2019 through Leyard and Planar’s network of authorized resellers.
